Overview

Goldbelt Hawk designs, develops, and implements comprehensive solutions for problem spaces, including computer security, scalable architectures, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and network/data center operations. Specializing in local and enterprise-level incident response and forensic analysis, Hawk's personnel deliver threat analysis and reporting while implementing solutions based on mature planning and development practices.

Summary

Goldbelt Hawk is seeking a Technical Editor to provide continued support to the DTRA NE-MA Department’s customers and programs. Facilitating vulnerability assessments and mission assurance department support and performance analysis in support of DoD and DTRA efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for reviewing, editing, and formatting products produced within NE-MA De Thoroughly review documents, reports, and materials to ensure they adhere to the recently updated reporting format
  • Edit content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency
  • Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information and context for accurate document editing
  • Ensure accurate and professional products are released regarding performance vulnerability and adversarial assessments. Transform complex technical content into clear, concise, and reader-friendly documents
  • Enhance the overall readability and flow of documents while maintaining the integrity of technical information
  • Collaborate closely with Assessment Teams to understand the scope and details of assignments, providing real-time editing support
  • Perform final proofreading to ensure that edited documents are free from errors, typos, and formatting inconsistencies
  • Verify all relevant data, references, and citations and ensure that they are accurate and properly documented
Necessary Skills and Knowledge
  • Ability to scale editing effort based on factors such as urgency and impact
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and systems description documents
  • Ability to independently initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 or higher to include Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint
Minimum Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university field with at least 4 years of related experience OR a master’s degree in a related field with 2 years of related experience, or high school diploma/equivalent with at least 8 years of related and demonstrated work experience
  • Four (4) or more years’ experience in data analytics. An additional four (4) years of data science experience on projects with similar data analytics processes may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
  • Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
  • Must be a U.S Citizen
  • Ability to travel up to 10% - 20% - required to travel up to four times annually within and outside the Continental United States
Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually.
