Summary

Stored Energy Systems (SENS) is seeking a Document Control Specialist responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and control of engineering, manufacturing, quality, and ERP documentation throughout the product lifecycle. This role supports product data management, engineering change control, and document governance across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assign part numbers, create item descriptions, and maintain critical item attributes and settings.
  • Create and maintain item masters, bills of materials (BOMs), and related ERP data.
  • Perform ERP data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency of item settings, flags, and product structures.
  • Keep process documents, part drawings, publications and data documents organized and current.
  • Administer engineering change orders (ECOs/ECRs), ensuring approvals are completed, records are updated, revisions are controlled, and changes are implemented accurately.
  • Support cross-functional teams with documentation, revision control, and ERP data management questions.
  • Manage revision changes for downloadable documents and firmware posted on the company website.
  • Work with vendors and other company functional areas to supply appropriate documentation.
  • Provide documentation control training to employees
  • Act as a quality gatekeeper for the integrity of documentation and ERP system settings.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working with item master file maintenance and Bills of Materials in an ERP system in electronics manufacturing.
  • Experience managing engineering change control, document revision control, and product data management processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and process improvement skills.
  • Strong computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Business, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Data Management Systems and/or enterprise-level Product Lifecycle Management software.
  • Familiarity with electronics components.
  • Experience with Infor Syteline.

Location: This position is located in Longmont, CO and has flexibility to work a hybrid schedule once fully trained.

Base Compensation: $29 - $33 is the projected hourly compensation range for this role and will be determined on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.


Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
