RESPONSIBILITIES ย 
  • Responsible for daily mail pick up at the local USPS. Responsible for sorting mail by Departments then by document types such as Return Mail Documents, Payments, Claims Documents, Underwriting Documents, and all other departments.ย 
  • Responsible for Importing all Claims Electronic Communications into Onbase. These are CDs or USB drives received from Medical Providers, Attorneys etc. in relation to the claim.ย 
  • Responsible for verifying the information on document matches information on the AS400 and/or the Claims Overlay system to index accurately. If the document is not verified correctly it could result in the document being forwarded to the wrong policy or claim. ย 
  • Responsible for processing any outgoing mail via UPS using UPS WorldShip Software.is entered processed This includes weighing, measuring, and determining which class of service to useย 
  • Responsible for entering all return mail in the AS400 or Claims Overlay verifying Policy or Claim number and name before entering.ย 
  • Responsible for sorting Return Mail by the Endorsement reason on the mail piece as well as counting all return mail for the Daily Mail Log.ย 
  • Responsible for Scanning /Indexing all cancellations, bad address and forwarding address to Underwriting that were returned so a notification can be sent out by the Processing Unitย 
  • Responsible for understanding scanner equipment due to having to select scanner parameters as identified for each job to ensure accurate handling of the document per department. ย 
  • Responsible for receiving Federal Express and UPS documents to be processed or delivered.ย 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma requiredย 
  • 2 yearsโ€™ office experience in business environment.ย 
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license to operate a company vehicle.ย 
  • Must be able to reach, handle, carry and/or lift between 10lbs and up to 50lbs.ย 
  • Knowledge of claims and underwriting documents, experience with Onbase & AS 400 would be helpfulย 
  • Knowledge of Postal Equipment, Postage Rates as well as UPS World Ship Software would be helpful.ย 
  • Computer Skills: Data Entry, Microsoft Outlook, Excel Knowledge would be helpful. Must have skill and proficiency using a computer.ย 
  • Must be able to independently take initiative-taking steps towards problem resolution and able ย 
  • to pay attention to details to perform work accurately and thoroughly. ย 
  • Ability to work under pressure and have excellent communication skills with all departments and vendors.ย
