Document Control Specialist

General Description:
The Document Control Specialist manages the lifecycle of critical production and quality documentation. This role ensures adherence to industry standards, maintains version control for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, and provides secure, audit-ready records.
Position Specific Requirements (PSR):

Version & Change Control: Manage the creation, revision, and approval of controlled documents.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure all documentation complies with automotive industry standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS), such as IATF 16949 or specific OEM requirements.
Document Distribution: Maintain documents and ensure that production and relevant departments always have access to the most up-to-date procedures.
Audit Support: Prepare documentation, track change histories, and assist internal and external teams during compliance and quality audits.
Qualifications:

Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing documentation, or document control.
