In this role, you'll help manage and maintain critical policies and documents that support high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. You'll collaborate with a wide range of teams across the health system, including clinical staff, leadership, quality, regulatory, compliance, and support services, giving you broad exposure and the opportunity to build strong cross-functional relationships. The Document Control Coordinator supports the document control program by performing standardized document management tasks under guidance. This role focuses on accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established document control processes to support DNV-NIAHO-ISO compliance and survey readiness.
Position Duties
  • Performs intake, formatting, version control, and publication of controlled documents.
  • Applies approved templates, naming conventions, and metadata in accordance with document control standards.
  • Tracks document review cycles and notifies document owners of upcoming reviews.
  • Maintains document archives and ensures retired documents are appropriately restricted.
  • Provides basic support to stakeholders regarding document submission and access.
  • Assists with regulatory surveys and audits by retrieving controlled documents and records.
  • Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
