Position Summary

The Division Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the Wilmington division, overseeing operations, finance, project management, production, estimating, and business development. This leadership role is accountable for achieving division growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational performance while ensuring compliance with company standards and safety policies.

The ideal candidate brings proven Division Manager experience within the electrical construction industry and has a strong track record of leading high-performing teams while managing the financial and operational success of a business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Wilmington division to achieve growth, profitability, and operational objectives
  • Manage the division's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility
  • Review financial statements and monitor budget-to-actual performance
  • Oversee project management, estimating, job processing, and profitability reviews
  • Approve design-build estimates within authorized approval limits
  • Monitor project productivity, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and workforce planning across divisions as needed
  • Develop new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with general contractors, developers, and key customers
  • Lead weekly management meetings and monthly operational reviews
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, vehicle programs, and supplier requirements
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic business objectives and long-term division growth


Requirements
  • Prior Division Manager experience within the electrical construction industry
  • Proven experience leading the operational and financial performance of an electrical construction division
  • Strong understanding of project management, estimating, budgeting, and P&L management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams across operations, finance, production, and business development
  • Experience building relationships with general contractors, developers, and commercial construction clients
  • Strong leadership, organizational, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
