This technology, along with a commitment to excellence, has given their clients a competitive advantage and has distinguished them as an industry leader over the competition. With all of the rapid growth and expansion, our client is seeking a top IT Infrastructure / Data Center Manager to who is able to manage and lead a team, set the IT direction, drive execution and make hands-on technical contributions. 
Duties of the IT Infrastructure / Data Center Manager:

    • Maintain and oversee Infrastructure and Data Center service level standards and standard operating procedures for hardware, software, servers and networks. 
    • Ongoing management of desktops, phone systems and email. 
    • Lead team of analysts and technicians and assist in help desk and production support and make sure workload and priorities are set based on business needs. 
    • Manage and recruit staff, including interviewing, hiring, training and conducting performance reviews.
    • Assist with the company's network infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions, plans, and annual tests.
    • Ensure security of company data across all systems. 
    • Create and manage effective vendor relationships to ensure understanding of business needs and priorities. 
Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 6+ years experience in IT-related field including knowledge of basic applications and typical hardware components of computer networks. 
  • Minimum 3 years direct management of technical staff, managing multiple priorities and leading implementations of enterprise systems and services.
  • Experience with infrastructure technologies, including data center management, VMWare, Cisco routers & switches, network monitoring tools, firewall management, storage solutions, disaster recovery procedures and security processes.
  • Experience designing and administering databases
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated excellence in working in a team environment.
  • Experience with Cisco networking devices, storage devices, tape backup libraries, and Windows/Linux operating systems. 
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server and Teradata databases, telecommunications equipment and IT Helpdesk.
  • Either has manager experience or excelled in individual experiences.
  • Experience with both on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Ability to work well with others, promoting healthy relationships and building strong team dynamics by influencing others positively and engaging and inspiring those around you.
  • Ability to confidently lead, motivate, and influence individuals and teams to accomplish objectives while promoting collaboration and teamwork through coaching and development.

Bachelor's Degree is required
