Disability Program Managers often encounter challenges such as balancing the diverse needs of employees with disabilities, ensuring legal compliance, and navigating limited resources. To address these, effective communication with employees and managers, staying current with accessibility regulations, and fostering strong relationships with HR and external service providers are essential. Proactively educating the workforce and creating clear processes for requesting and implementing accommodations also help streamline support and reduce misunderstandings.

About Mariana Minerals
Mariana Minerals is a software-first, vertically integrated minerals company on a mission to supply the critical minerals powering modern energy, AI, and defense technologies. We're reimagining the minerals supply chain by combining deep industry expertise with advanced software, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
The Role
Mariana Minerals is looking for a Staff Program Manager to join its Business Operations team, to support operational execution and drive continuous improvement at its Copper One subsidiary in Utah. This role will be instrumental in bridging operational excellence with digital transformation at Mariana's first operating mine.
What You'll Do
  • Operational performance management: Develop performance metrics and implement data collection and reporting processes to track performance against site and company goals.
  • Business process improvement: Work with functional leaders to identify areas for operational improvement and to design and implement processes to optimize efficiency across various functions, including finance, maintenance, supply chain, environmental, and safety.
  • Site digitization and change management: Use an understanding of the site's operational workflows to inform development of internal digital tools and technology platforms. Drive adoption and continuous improvement of new digital tools across the site.
  • Site program management: Own operational cadence for site leadership, including leadership meetings and reporting practices. Drive improvements to internal communications practices to ensure timely information flow between operational teams, site leadership, and company leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • 5 years in business operations or program management; experience in mining, energy, manufacturing, or another industrial sector is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to build and own operational reporting systems (define KPIs, design dashboards, implement data collection workflows)
  • Strong communicator with experience distilling complex operational issues into clear updates for leadership and keeping distributed teams aligned
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional projects in fast-moving environments with minimal oversight
  • Experience working directly with frontline operations and executive leadership; comfortable influencing without authority across all levels
  • Comfortable on-site in an industrial environment; this is a full-time, in-person role in Moab, UT
Why Join Us?
