Job description

Director Workforce Management.

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days a week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office

The Director Workforce Management oversees Inventory Management, Demand Forecasting, and Data Analysis.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads a team of business analysts and managers accountable for supporting inventory management, claims forecasting, and staffing activities
  • Develops long-range workforce planning models and forecasts accounting for
  • Oversees project and process improvement work for claims operations
  • Significantly impacts the company's ability to maintain and improve claims inventory aging and processing timeliness goals while improving administrative cost structure
  • Works closely with other claims operations directors to achieve shared goals.
  • Performs data analysis and develops new metrics and key performance indicators to improve performance
  • Utilizes and advises on digital tools and technology to improve claims performance
  • Demonstrates strong people-management skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and develop a team of associates.
  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

Requirements

BA/BS with a minimum of 6 years' experience in management, inventory management, data analysis and/or reporting or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills and experience

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent PC skills, especially in EXCEL
  • Knowledge or experience with data tools like Alteryx or Databricks
  • Background in statistics including Six Sigma, Data Science, or a mathematics degree
  • Experience or knowledge of health care or property and casualty claims processes
  • Will consider experience with back-office workforce planning and forecasting in other industries, such as logistics.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $141,120 -$221,760
