Job description

About
Label Aid is a family-owned manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels, tags, and tape based in Huron, Ohio. Since 1984, we have partnered with startups, established brands, and manufacturers to deliver dependable packaging solutions backed by quality, service, and industry expertise.
We serve a wide range of markets, including distilled spirits and wine, food and beverage, health and beauty, nutraceuticals, cannabis, specialty consumer goods, industrial and chemical, and automotive.
Label Aid is seeking: Outside Sales Representative - Pressure Sensitive Labels (CPG & Prime Labels)
Position Summary:
Label Aid is growing, and we are seeking an experienced outside sales professional to develop new business with consumer brands across food and beverages, distilled wine and spirits, beauty, personal care, and other related CPG markets.
This role offers the freedom to build a meaningful book of business, direct access to decision-makers, and experienced support when opportunities move quickly. Strong representatives can stay focused on selling, solving customer problems, and growing accounts rather than navigating unnecessary internal roadblocks. The role is ideal for someone with direct experience selling pressure-sensitive labels, or adjacent forms of packaging. Knowledge of flexographic printing, digital label production, label embellishments (e.g., hot foil stamping, embossing, etc.), specialty adhesives, navigating formal procurement processes or technical packaging requirements is a major plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, trade shows, referrals, and targeted outreach
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects across CPG segments including food and beverages, distilled spirits and wine, cannabis and other related markets
• Sell pressure-sensitive label solutions primarily into CPG segments including food and beverages, distilled spirits and wine, cannabis and other related markets
• Navigate discovery, formal procurement processes, and production timelines while managing the expectations of prospects and customers
• Identify customer needs related to substrates, adhesives, application requirements, durability, compliance, embellishments, and production timelines
• Work closely with estimating, customer service, prepress, production, and leadership to develop accurate quotes and practical label solutions
• Manage the full sales process from initial outreach through discovery, quoting, sampling, follow-up, closing, and account development
• Grow existing customer relationships by identifying new projects, product lines, locations, or opportunities for improved label performance
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, opportunities, customer communication, and pipeline status in CRM
• Stay informed on customer needs, market trends, and new opportunities within assigned industries or territories
• Represent Label Aid professionally during customer visits, facility tours, industry events, and trade shows
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sales to customer service and production
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated B2B sales professional who understands how to sell value, solve customer problems, anticipate needs, and build long-term relationships within the industry. We are especially interested in candidates who bring experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
• Selling pressure-sensitive labels to CPG brands or related markets
• Selling adjacent packaging products, such as flexible packaging, containers, and closures
• Digital and flexographic printing processes
• Premium label embellishments, including foil stamping and embossing
• Label materials, adhesives, and application requirements
• Packaging procurement, sourcing, or supplier management
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably within labels, packaging, printing, or a related industry
• Strong prospecting, qualification, pipeline-development, and new-business development skills
• Ability to understand technical product and application requirements and communicate them clearly to customers and internal teams
• Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in a remote or hybrid sales environment
• Resourceful and self-directed, with the ability to research unfamiliar markets, applications, and prospective accounts
• Ability to use AI tools independently to research accounts, prepare for meetings, analyze information, develop outreach, and improve personal productivity
• Proficiency using CRM and sales enablement platforms (e.g., Apollo, HubSpot, ZoomInfo)
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer visits, prospect meetings, trade shows, industry events, and periodic visits to Label Aid's facility in Huron, Ohio
What we offer:
• Competitive base salary plus a performance-based commission structure
• Significant, uncapped earning potential tied directly to new-business development and account growth
• A strong existing customer base, proven manufacturing capabilities, and a broad range of label solutions to support your sales efforts
• Access to CRM, prospecting, AI, marketing, estimating, and technical resources to help identify and win new business
• Autonomy to manage your territory, prospecting strategy, travel schedule, and customer relationships
• Opportunities for increased responsibility and career growth as the company and sales organization expand
• 401(k) matching and profit sharing
• Medical, life, dental, and vision insurance
• Paid time off and holiday pay
