Director of Warehouse Operations

Milwaukee, WI (Relocation Available)


A fast-growing, family-owned food manufacturer is seeking a Director of Warehouse Operations to lead warehouse, inventory, and 3PL operations across multiple manufacturing facilities and distribution partners.


This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, improving inventory accuracy, strengthening warehouse performance, and building scalable processes that support continued growth.


Key Areas of Focus

• Multi-site warehouse operations leadership

• 3PL management and external warehouse partnerships

• Inventory accuracy, inventory control, and process improvement

• Cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, and Finance

• Building a high-accountability, people-centric culture

• Leading organizational change in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

• Leveraging data, analytics, and AI tools to improve decision-making and operational performance


Requirements

• Proven experience leading warehouse operations across multiple locations

• Strong inventory management and inventory control experience

• Experience managing 3PL providers and warehouse partnerships

• Strong WMS experience required

• ERP implementation and optimization experience required; Oracle Fusion experience preferred

• Experience within food manufacturing, cold storage, temperature-controlled, or other complex manufacturing environments

• Demonstrated success improving inventory accuracy, operational performance, and warehouse processes

• Process-oriented and data-driven leadership style

• Experience utilizing AI and analytics tools to identify trends, improve visibility, and support operational decision-making

• Proven change management and leadership capability
