Director of Warehouse Operations
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated leader to oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety protocols, optimizing processes for accuracy and profitability, and fostering collaboration between the warehouse, culinary, sales, and finance teams. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic leader with a positive attitude, focused on maintaining a productive and efficient warehouse environment while continuously improving operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with operations, sales, and finance teams to promote effective communication and teamwork between departments.
  • Oversee the processing, fulfillment, and transportation of event orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to meet special event fulfillment needs, ensuring that all requirements are understood and executed properly.
  • Create and refine warehouse operation systems, including product handling and storage requirements. Implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures related to receiving products, equipment utilization, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Plan and develop efficient warehouse layouts, product flow strategies, and handling systems. Regularly evaluate and recommend new equipment to enhance operations.
  • Mentor and develop junior leaders within the team, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent and leadership capabilities.
  • Oversee the companys vehicle fleet, including scheduling regular maintenance, handling repairs, and ensuring drivers receive necessary training and certifications.
  • Maintain accountability for labor costs, implementing strategies to manage and control these expenses effectively.
  • Establish, follow, and enforce standards and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Actively pursue and recruit new talent to enhance the overall quality and performance of the team.
  • Oversee purchasing operations, ensuring that products and services are of optimum quality and priced competitively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse or logistics management.
    • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively resolve problems, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

  • An energetic and flexible individual who is approachable, easygoing, and capable of managing diverse personalities effectively.

  • Strong knowledge of local health department regulations, OSHA standards, and other relevant regulatory agencies.

Pay: The pay range for the Director of Warehouse Operations ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
