This role resides within the Corporate Procurement and Logistics organization and is responsible for developing and executing warehouse and packaging strategies that support the Aluminum Can and Food & Household businesses throughout the United States and Canada.The successful candidate will collaborate across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Commercial, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure warehousing and reusable packaging resources are aligned with business requirements while optimizing cost, service, inventory availability, and operational efficiency.This position has direct responsibility for warehouse sourcing, leased warehouse management, reusable packaging procurement, packaging asset optimization, and oversight of the North American sorting, repair, and cleaning operations.**Key Responsibilities****Warehouse Strategy and Sourcing*** Develop and execute the North American warehouse strategy by evaluating network capacity, business requirements, inventory positioning, throughput, and cost performance.* Analyze leased and third-party warehouse operations to identify opportunities for improved utilization, service, scalability, and cost optimization.* Lead warehouse sourcing initiatives including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.* Partner with Corporate Real Estate, Logistics, Operations, and Finance teams to evaluate warehouse alternatives and determine the most cost-effective solutions.* Negotiate commercial agreements, lease terms, and service contracts while partnering with Legal to minimize risk and maximize contractual value.* Establish warehouse performance metrics, reporting standards, and financial KPIs aligned with operational and corporate objectives.* Prepare and present monthly warehouse performance and network updates to Procurement and Logistics leadership.* Participate in S&OP, inventory planning, and capacity review processes to ensure warehousing resources support evolving business requirements.* Serve as the primary escalation point for warehouse-related operational challenges, driving timely resolution and continuous improvement.**Packaging Materials and Asset Management*** Develop and implement the North American reusable packaging materials strategy, including asset optimization, inventory management, repair, cleaning, and return logistics.* Analyze packaging inventory levels, asset utilization, sort center performance, and network requirements to drive efficiency and reduce total system cost.* Lead sourcing activities and procurement planning for reusable packaging materials in partnership with the North American sourcing team.* Coordinate packaging asset movements and inventory balancing across the network to support customer demand while minimizing transportation, storage, and procurement costs.* Collaborate with Commercial, Planning, Operations, and Logistics teams to improve packaging return rates and overall asset availability.* Provide operational and financial oversight for the Preston Sort and Repair operation, ensuring performance, safety, service, and cost objectives are achieved.* Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and maximize packaging asset utilization.* Perform additional duties and strategic initiatives as assigned.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, finance, or a related discipline required;
