Looking for an enthusiastic and strategic Listing Development Specialist to join our growing CoolVacay department!


Work Type: Full-time. Hourly. Year-round.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. 9AM-5PM (EST).

Location: Fully remote. May have to work in different time zones.

Position Summary:

The Listing Development Specialist is responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining vacation rental listings across multiple online travel agencies (OTAs) and direct booking channels. This role ensures every property is accurately represented with compelling content, complete amenities, high-quality imagery, and competitive positioning to maximize visibility and booking performance.


Working closely with Revenue Management, Reporting, Inventory Management, Marketing, Guest Experience, and Resort Operations, the Listing Development Specialist manages the lifecycle of listings from onboarding through ongoing maintenance and offboarding while supporting company initiatives and special projects as needed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and publish new vacation rental listings across OTA and direct booking platforms.
  • Write engaging, accurate property descriptions and highlight unique amenities and features.
  • Upload and organize photography, floor plans, amenities, house rules, fees, and other listing content.
  • Build and maintain listing information within internal systems and property reference documentation.
  • Configure automated guest messaging and property-specific communication templates.
  • Regularly audit listings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand standards across all distribution channels.
  • Coordinate listing launches for newly onboarded properties and resorts.
  • Update listings to reflect renovations, amenity changes, policy updates, seasonal promotions, and operational changes.
  • Troubleshoot listing issues with OTA partners and escalate when necessary.
  • Assist with calendar maintenance, reservation updates, and inventory synchronization as needed.
  • Partner with Revenue Management to ensure pricing, restrictions, and booking settings are implemented accurately.
  • Work with Marketing to support promotional campaigns and improve listing performance.
  • Monitor listing quality and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and guest engagement.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of listing configurations and operational procedures.
  • Assist with assigned department projects during slower operational periods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Software & Systems
    • Experience with or ability to learn: Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, SendSquared, Hospitable, Guesty, Siteminder, RHEA, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office Suite, Additional OTA, PMS, and channel management platforms as assigned.
