Position Summary

We're seeking a motivated and hands-on Operations Summer Intern to join our team in Ocean City, MD for the peak summer season. This is more than a traditional internship, it’s an opportunity to step directly into the fast-paced world of vacation rental operations and learn what it takes to run a high-performing hospitality business from the inside out.

In this role, you’ll work side-by-side with our operations, guest services, and property management teams, gaining real-world experience supporting guests, coordinating property readiness, and solving day-to-day challenges as they arise. You won’t be sitting on the sidelines, you’ll be trusted to contribute, take ownership, and make a meaningful impact during one of the busiest times of the year.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Support

    • Respond to guest inquiries before and during their stay

    • Resolve guest issues (Wi-Fi problems, maintenance issues, etc.)

    • Handle booking questions, and adjust reservations as needed

  • Scheduling & Coordination

    • Coordinate maintenance or repairs at properties

    • Ensure properties are ready for upcoming guests

  • Property Inspections

    • Check that homes are clean and properly set up

    • Report damages or missing items

    • May require minor housekeeping work to be done

  • Owner Communication

    • Update property owners about bookings, issues, or maintenance

    • Help coordinate improvements or repairs with owners

    • Maintain Communication

  • Listing & Booking Management

    • Manage listings on platforms like Airbnb, Vrbo, or the company's website

    • Monitor reservations and occupancy

  • Administrative Tasks

    • Track operational reports (cleaning schedules, maintenance logs)

    • Process guest feedback or reviews

    • Help improve operational processes

Required Qualifications
  • Rising Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate of a 4 year university

  • Communication skills

  • High school diploma

  • Problem solving

  • Microsoft 365

  • GPA: 3.3 or above

  • 1+ year of work experience or previous summer internship

Compensation & BenefitsHourly Salary - $17-$20Schedule

Must be willing to work weekends in season.
