Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Technical Portfolio Director to lead a portfolio of large-scale technology implementations and transformation initiatives across the enterprise. This leader will oversee multiple complex, cross-functional programs simultaneously, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities, delivery excellence, operational readiness, and measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong technology delivery expertise with executive-level influence, portfolio governance experience, financial acumen, and the ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization. This role requires a leader who can connect strategy to execution, drive accountability across teams, proactively manage risk and dependencies, and operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.

This position will partner closely with senior leaders across Technology, Product, Business, Digital, Finance, and Risk organizations to deliver transformational capabilities that support enterprise growth and modernization objectives.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a portfolio of complex, enterprise-wide technology initiatives and implementations with multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Establish and maintain integrated portfolio roadmaps, delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and governance structures
  • Drive alignment between business priorities, technology strategy, and execution plans
  • Ensure portfolio delivery meets scope, timeline, budget, quality, and value realization objectives while managing risks, interdependencies, and delivery constraints across programs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business leaders
  • Lead executive steering committees, governance forums, and portfolio reviews
  • Provide concise, data-driven updates on portfolio health, risks, financials, and delivery status
  • Influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
  • Build strong partnerships across business and technology organizations to drive alignment and decision-making
  • Oversee enterprise technology implementations including platform modernization, cloud transformation, digital capabilities, data & AI platforms (e.g., Databricks), GenAI tool rollouts and enablement (e.g., adoption, governance, and operationalization), integrations, infrastructure upgrades, and operational enablement efforts
  • Partner with architecture, engineering, product, and business teams to ensure successful implementation outcomes
  • Ensure alignment between technical delivery, business processes, operational readiness, and customer experience objectives
  • Support scalable and repeatable delivery practices across programs
  • Lead organizational readiness, communication, and change management efforts related to major implementations
  • Promote accountability, execution discipline, and continuous improvement across delivery teams

  • Potential starting salary range: $173,000 - $236,200
