  • Mentors and develops a professional team of sourcing, contracting, and value analysis staff by establishing performance expectations, operational workflows, and KPI accountability frameworks.
  • Develops strategic supplier partnerships and governs vendor performance using data‑driven scorecards to monitor cost, service delivery, compliance, and innovation metrics.

Preferred Education and Experience

Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) combined with 12+ years of progressive healthcare supply chain leadership experience within a highly complex, multi‑entity, or matrixed health system.

Preferred Certifications
  • Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP)
  • Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP) certification
  • Institute for Supply Management Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) designation
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High-level negotiation, contract design, and supplier relationship management skills with a proven track record of optimizing cost, quality, and service outcomes.
  • Superior communication and change management skills, with the ability to influence, facilitate consensus, and establish credibility with senior leadership, physicians, and cross‑functional clinical committees.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced healthcare ERP infrastructure (e.g., Workday, Lawson, Epic).
