About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Experience

Slack is looking for a Sr. Director of Product Management to own and evolve the product vision for bringing Slack and Salesforce together, making Slack the indispensable conversational front door to Salesforce for every customer, from a 5-person startup to the largest enterprise.

This is a rare opportunity to sit at the intersection of two of the world's most widely used enterprise platforms, and to define what it means to reimagine CRM to be AI-first in Slack. You'll lead product strategy for CRM in Slackbot, SlackCRM, and SlackFirst - three of the highest-priority bets in Slack's FY27 roadmap.

What You'll Actually Be DoingProduct Strategy & Vision
  • Define and drive the product vision to make Slack the conversational interface for CRM

  • Own the product roadmap across SlackCRM, SlackFirst, Slackbot CRM, and more balancing near-term delivery with long-term strategy

  • Drive prioritization and navigate complex cross-org dependencies across both Slack and Salesforce

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Work closely with Salesforce Clouds to reimagine cloud-specific SlackFirst experiences that are AI-first in Slack

  • Lead operational excellence through Slack WBR, quarterly reviews, and metric-driven prioritization

  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to align strategy with execution

  • Represent Slackforce product priorities in Slack PDE planning and Salesforce roadmap alignment

Go-to-Market
  • Bring Slack's product-led-growth muscle to CRM to generate new Salesforce logos

  • Champion and execute the Pricing and Packaging strategy for CRM in Slack

  • Partner closely with marketing, enablement, and sales to ensure SlackFirst solutions are not only successfully brought to market but also adopted and loved by customers

Product Areas of Responsibility

Working in close partnership with Slackforce engineering and design teams, this product leader is accountable for:

  • Slackbot CRM: Own the roadmap for CRM in Slackbot including natural language CRM queries, write-back actions, native line of business skills, rich agentic UI, and Agentforce orchestration

  • SlackCRM: Own the 0-1, AI-powered growth engine for sales, service, and marketing natively built in Slack for SMBs. Drive new logos for Salesforce through frictionless onboarding, PLG-driven acquisition, and rapid iteration to achieve product market fit.

  • SlackFirst Primitives & Cloud Experiences: Shape the product strategy to reimagine CRM AI-first in Slack. This includes prioritizing CRM product surfaces, delivering new, AI-first experiences from JTBD, and expanding SlackFirst primitives including native approvals, Salesforce Channels, Seamless Salesforce App, Salesforce List Views, notifications, action items, and more.

  • Seamlessly Integrated Platform: Own the roadmap for seamless identity, infrastructure, and data integration - including OrgJWT migration, permissions and metadata sync, and auto-auth reliability.

  • Mobile: Drive the mobile-first strategy for the new interface for Salesforce.

You're Our Person If...
  • 10+ years in product management, ideally spanning both platform and end-user product at a B2B SaaS company

  • Proven track record shipping at scale across complex, multi-stakeholder environments with cross-org dependencies

  • A related technical degree required

Leadership Profile
  • Operates with clarity and speed: prototypes the path forward, rapidly iterates based on user feedback, and ships products people want to use

  • Deeply customer-obsessed: can hold both the SMB founder and the enterprise admin in mind simultaneously

  • Builder mentality: energized by greenfield and ambiguous spaces, not just optimizing what exists

  • Low ego, high ownership: leads from the front and gets into the details when it matters

  • Excellent cross-boundary collaborator: earns trust across org lines through alignment on customer needs and outcomes

  • Strong communicator: can distill complex platform dependencies into clear product narratives for executives and customers

  • Deep understanding of CRM, enterprise workflow, or productivity software - and how users actually adopt (or don't adopt) these tools

  • Proven experience directly managing and developing senior product managers, including directly managing managers, across a large, matrixed organization

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence across org boundaries without direct authority

  • Experience building AI-powered product experiences, particularly conversational or agent-driven workflows

Even Better If...
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem - understanding of CRM data models, Agentforce, and how Slack fits within the broader Salesforce platform

  • Experience leading PLG-driven product strategy, including acquisition funnels, trial design, and conversion optimization with strong data instincts

  • Experience navigating multi-platform product development (e.g., mobile, web, embedded surfaces)
