Job description

Job Description: Sales Director-REMOTE
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director with proven expertise in food service and/or janitorial solutions, ideally within commercial facilities management. The ideal candidate will be both a strategist and a hands-on leader, with a track record of winning complex bids, penetrating new markets, and scaling client relationships in highly competitive sectors. Extensive travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that target large, complex commercial accounts in facilities services (food, janitorial), while also protecting and expanding government and commercial contracts.
  • Identify and prioritize marquee account opportunities (Fortune 500, healthcare, life science, tech campuses) and design tailored go-to-market strategies that differentiate BCI.
  • Build executive-level relationships with decision makers in procurement, real estate, and operations, leveraging BCI's MBE status, government track record, and corporate business to gain a strong commercial foothold.
  • Monitor pipeline health, track win rates, and deliver insights on market dynamics, pricing competitiveness, and customer trends. Present findings to Growth and Executive Leadership.
  • Partner closely with Growth, Operations, and Proposal teams to craft winning RFP/RFI responses, including solution development and pricing alignment.
  • Lead the development of customized proposals and pitch strategies that highlight BCI's capabilities in cross-selling food and /or janitorial as well as our track record in commercial and government operations.
  • Represent BCI at targeted industry events, conferences, and forums to expand business development opportunities and our presence in commercial markets.
  • Ensure all pursuits comply with industry regulations, client requirements, and BCI's values of authenticity and win-win partnerships.

What You Bring:
  • Proven success driving revenue growth in food service and/or janitorial with a strong preference for candidates who have sold into commercial markets.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-service facilities programs, including corporate dining/cafés and/or janitorial contracts. Retail food program development experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership, executive communication, and negotiation skills with C-suite executives and procurement leads.
  • Ability to analyze pipeline data, forecast revenue, and build ROI models that win competitive bids.
  • Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce), proposal development tools, and sales performance dashboards.
  • Results-driven with a customer-first mindset and the ability to turn client satisfaction into expanded wallet share.
