Job Summary
Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Director, Program Management located in Austin, TX.
Reporting to the VP, Program Management the Director, Program Management, will be the responsible for developing corporate, global, and organizational policies, and directing cross functional activities to deliver quality programs to external customers, with the overall focus to ensure customer satisfaction and retention to generate growth for the business.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective communication of strategy between cross-functional teams to support smooth and timely progression of programs, products, or services through all launch phases.
    • Work with BU and GOPs teams to ensure key metrics are monitored and that customer satisfaction is closely tracked.
    • Drive, collaborate, and steer business launch activities, including win replacement and growth programs.
    • Establish project schedules, financial parameters, and technical requirements, managing projects from initiation through mass production.
    • Communicate customer requirements, specifications, project schedules, and budget constraints to cross-functional teams and management.
    • Review daily program schedules, identify problem areas, assess root causes, and provide technical support and direction to the project team to resolve issues.
    • Develop status reports, including project financials, ensuring the project team meets customer requirements and maintains cost control.
    • Create and maintain project plans, documentation, procedures, and project deliverables.
    • Conduct program presentations covering strategic updates, status reviews, and technical information related to specific projects and schedules.
    • Support the management of larger projects and programs as required.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to Project and Product Managers to achieve objectives in accordance with established policies.
    • Recommend improvements or changes to policies that may impact subordinate organizations.
    • Interact frequently with customers, functional peer group managers, and senior management.
    • Maintain strong understanding of Flex financials, including program P&L and accrual management.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with NPI
  • Strong experience in Operations
  • Experience with PNL
  • Ability to interface and communicate with different levels of the organization
  • Strong communication skills
