Join Our Team as a Federal Acquisition Strategist! Are you a dynamic professional with a passion for crafting acquisition strategies and building relationships within the federal marketplace? Do you have a knack for navigating the complexities of acquisitions, especially within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)? If so, we want you on our team at Accenture Federal Services, where you can make a real difference in the lives of our Veterans!

You Are: A highly motivated, self-starter who thrives on developing and executing acquisition strategies. You have significant experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and navigating the VA, possibly as a former Contracting Officer or Contracting Specialist. With your existing client relationships and a deep understanding of the federal marketplace, you will provide invaluable acquisition strategy to support our clients, ultimately contributing to improved outcomes for our Veterans.

The Work:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement acquisition strategies that align with our mission and client needs, focusing on enhancing outcomes for Veterans.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, leveraging your expertise in acquisitions to drive outcomes, including supporting RFI and compliant RFP submissions.
  • Capability Expansion: Introduce innovative acquisition approaches and strategies to tailor our offerings and support our existing programs.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of the curve by continuously learning about Accenture Federal Services offerings, financial drivers, and industry trends. Build and maintain relationships that benefit our clients and our team, always with an eye on improving Veteran outcomes.

Here Is What You Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with the federal acquisition processes, procedures, and laws. Specifically, first-hand familiarity working with the VA.
  • Proven track record in acquisition strategy within the federal marketplace.
  • Skilled in using formal acquisition processes and strategies.
  • Experience in Consulting Services, Business Process Outsourcing, or Information Technology solutions, with a solid understanding of competitive offerings.
  • Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) experience

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • 10+ years of industry experience and 5+ years of specific agency experience.
  • Ability to interface and negotiate with senior executives.
  • Previous experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing new products or services for a large business entity.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
