Job description


Program Manager in the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Development Programs area primarily managing Special Missions and Tactics programs. As Program Manager, you will lead multiple aircraft development/modification, integration, installation and upgrade projects. As Program Manager, you will work with two primary customers: The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's C-130 Hercules System Program Office (C-130J SPO) and the Special Operations Forces System Program Office (SOF SPO) staff. The Program Manager will be one of the customers' primary contact for program execution, business management, and risks and program team leader and coordinator for new capabilities related to the C/AC/HC/MC-130J aircraft. Initial primary responsibility will be for the new C-130J Formation Positioning System (FPS).
The selected individual will support the Sr Program Manager in identifying and expanding new business opportunities. The selected individual will execute other projects and assignments as assigned by the Sr Program Manager.
What You Will Be Doing
• Responsible for leading program reviews of cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics.
• Responsible for on-time delivery performance of all deliverables.
• Will develop, coordinate, and set the pace for the preparation of proposals, statements of work, understanding customer specifications, establishing operating budgets, setting financial terms and conditions of contract.
• Manages/Leads all phases of the program execution activities to include monitoring daily program execution, assessing risks, identifying opportunities, understanding developing problems, implementing solutions, and program pacesetting to ensure objectives are met.
• Presents material for Program Management Reviews, Executive Program Reviews and Line of Business Reviews.
• Ability to collaborate and lead in a functionally aligned organization.
• Drive risk and opportunity management to optimize project outcomes.
• Support the development of new business and strategic plans to keep sold and grow business.
• Selected manager will also be adept at leading and shaping organizational culture to improve business results while maintaining diligent attention to detail.
• Some Domestic travel will be required (25%).
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Program or Engineering Project Management
• Experience in Control Account Management (CAM)
• Experience briefing senior leaders, both internal and external customers
• Experience leading Cross Functional teams, Business management, Risk management, Strategic planning, Master planning, Baseline management, Manpower planning, and/or Budget development
• Demonstrated experience shaping, developing, delivering and/or negotiation of change proposals.
• Team building and relationship building experience with customers and employees at all levels
• Active Secret Clearance

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
• Large scale development program experience
• Must be a self-starter; requires little direction

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $154,100 - $267,145. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
