Project Management Intern

Role Overview

The Project Management Intern supports project planning, execution, and monitoring activities while gaining handson experience in a professional project environment. This role works closely with project teams to assist with coordination, stakeholder communication, and process improvement initiatives. The position is ideal for a motivated, detailoriented student seeking practical exposure to project management fundamentals and realworld project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas, capturing key discussion points, and documenting action items.
  • Track project progress and support the preparation and updating of project status reports.
  • Communicate regularly with project team members to ensure tasks and deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Identify potential project risks, issues, or delays, and escalate concerns to project leadership as appropriate.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and files, ensuring accuracy and easy accessibility.
  • Support crossfunctional collaboration by coordinating efforts between internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, helping optimize workflows and enhance project execution efficiency.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort collaborating in teambased environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, including document creation and basic data handling.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Jira is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving mindset.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Experience working in teambased settings, gained through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
