Job description


Job Summary:
The ERP Solution Delivery Manager will be part of the Enterprise Business Applications team managing digital transformation projects in the areas of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and complementary applications such as Customer Engagement and Power Platform. The individual in this role will work on a team of technology leaders, solution architects, software developers, business analysts, quality assurance, functional design, and various members to manage project work to successful completion. This role will be responsible for managing the client discussion and overseeing client's needs to build and maintain strong delivery as well as ensure client expectations are successfully managed.
Job Duties:
  • Maintains strategic relationships with client personnel, including members of client senior management
  • Manages client expectations and supports difficult messages when necessary to keep project delivery on course
  • Identifies areas of risk on engagements and develops plans to manage those risks
  • Manages the vision of the project solution
  • Leads, oversees, and prepares updates to project plan
  • Maintains detailed work plans in Azure DevOps
  • Prepares formal and informal presentations for client meetings
  • Leads the project team daily, including BDO consultants and client team members, this will include scrums, planning, and status meetings
  • Provides guidance to the project change plan, including identification of new scope and preparation of change orders
  • Provides project leadership for assessment, implementation, and optimization engagements
  • Works with Project Manager to ensure that BDO's project governance framework is applied to projects and that governance documentation is maintained, published, and stored according to BDO Quality Audit standards
  • Delivers timely project communications to the client including regular status reports and steering committee presentations
  • Ensures that the BDO Project Team follows BDO Implementation Methodology and produces deliverables to standards and on schedule
  • Participates in ongoing refinement of BDO Project Governance, Implementation Methodology, contracts and templates, mentors colleagues, and provides guidance and support
  • Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Owns and drives completion of key workstreams by associates and senior associates as directed by project leaders
  • Manages project workstreams of associates and senior associates as directed
  • Mentors and develops entry level consultants and senior consultants
  • May act as Career Advisor to associates and senior associates

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree AND six (6) or more years of industry experience with ERP solution delivery management, required; OR
  • High School Diploma/GED AND seven (7) or more years of industry experience with ERP solution delivery management, required

Experience:
  • Six (6) or more years comprehensive ERP solution delivery management experience including the management of budget, risks, resources, scope, issues, changes, and quality, required
  • Experience with project planning, scoping and management skills, required
  • Experience with business process analysis & design and process flow skills, required
  • Experience in planning, managing scope, timeline, or budget, required
  • Client facing consulting experience, preferred
  • Track record of managing projects within a software solutions complex deployment environment, preferred

License(s)/Certification(s):
  • PMP, preferred

Software:
  • Experience with one (1) or more of the following solutions, required:
    • HCM
    • Custom Applications
    • Data analytics
    • ERP (Dynamics 365 F&O, Business Central, CE)
