Job description

The Opportunity
Use your leadership expertise in solutions architecture to lead our Adobe on AEP Customer Zero engagement. This Director position will lead a team of solution architects focused on implementing technology solutions that drive business and customer growth for Adobe. This role will use Adobe's Customer Experience Orchestration suite of products/services, including large-scale data infrastructure, machine learning models, and a powerful personalization platform that delivers new capabilities for Creative, Document and Experience cloud. As the leader of solutions architecture, you will have significant responsibility and influence the future of data platforms at Adobe. The ideal candidate will have the ability to partner with product and growth teams to design solutions that last the test of time.
What you will do
  • Deliver large-scale growth engineering projects many of which are implementations of Adobe Experience Cloud solutions
  • Create a strong solution engineering culture where team members learn and grow while delivering measurable contributions to the business
  • Lead deep discovery sessions with partner teams to understand their key business and technical needs
  • Prepare and deliver compelling and scalable technical solutions design, engagement approach, and timelines
  • Engage internal customers for feedback on platform capabilities that will inform the engineering roadmap
  • Share standard processes and reference implementations with product engineering teams
What you will need
  • 5+ years of experience as a technical people manager
  • 12+ years of experience in technical/ business consulting, with at least 3+ years of hands- on experience with Adobe Solutions like Real Time CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, and AEM
  • Experience in leading workshops to define and prioritize client requirements and required Capabilities. Ability to drive clarity and alignment.
  • Proven track record to design, architect, and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing as the situation demands to guide partners in thinking through all aspects of the ask
  • Strong background in leading large web-based systems, or complete software product lifecycle exposure

  • Excellent communication/collaboration skills when it comes to leading and inspiring solutions engineers and partners
  • Experience with both B2C and B2B subscription business model is a plus
  • Certification (any type) in at least one of the following: Adobe Experience Platform or Adobe Journey Optimizer.
    Deep understanding of web technologies like tag management systems, tagging and implementation methods, data collection methods, visitor identification methods and data layer design. Hands-on experience in implementation of one or more of the above-mentioned solutions.

Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $186,500 -- $358,250 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $247,400 - $358,250
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
