Director of Physician Recruitment and Development
Job Details:
• Develop physician recruitment strategy, programs, policies, and procedures in alignment with organizational goals
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leadership and partner with Finance, Medical Staff, Legal, HR and Marketing
• Administer and manage the physician recruitment team to meet organizational goals and performance standards
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and credentialing
• Develop strong candidate pipelines through contacts with training programs, placement firms, and medical staff
• Ensure high-quality, high-touch candidate experience throughout recruitment process
• Create physician development strategy and programs to support physician retention and leadership development
• Manage all physician contracting for employed physicians as primary point of contact
• Develop and oversee physician recruitment metrics and budget to achieve performance targets
• Utilize data to determine effectiveness of recruitment efforts and adjust strategies accordingly
• Maintain comprehensive data on recruitment activities and communicate progress to stakeholders
• Master's degree in business or healthcare field strongly preferred, Bachelor's degree required
• 5-7 years of healthcare operations, recruitment, and/or HR experience with strong physician recruitment background
• 5-7 years of progressive supervisory leadership experience in healthcare field
• Knowledge of physician compensation and contracting frameworks
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with ability to work with all organizational levels
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
