REGIONAL DIRECTOR HOSPITALIST NEW ENGLAND

OVERVIEW

Private single specialty group is seeking a qualified Regional Director of Hospitalists to its growing program at a community hospital Q3.  Will work 7 on/7 off or variation.

 

ROLE

  • Will supervise 3 Sites in New England and report directly to CEO
  • Strategic & Clinical Leadership: Develop and implement a vision for hospital medicine across assigned markets, ensuring clinical excellence and adherence to evidence-based protocols.
  • Operational Management: Oversee provider staffing models, recruitment strategies, and budgeting in partnership with operational leaders.
  • Quality Improvement: Lead initiatives focused on patient safety, care standardization, and key performance metrics like length of stay and readmission rates.
  • Liaison & Collaboration: Act as the primary link between hospitalists, medical staff leadership, and administration to align goals and address operational challenges.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship, performance coaching, and career guidance to site leaders and advanced practice providers (APPs)

Year 1 Salary up to $350k

Annual Director Stipend $40k
