Responsibilities As a Director of Rehabilitation, you are leading a team of compassionate clinicians who help patients get well. You and your team are bringing power back to the patients you serve. In doing this, you will oversee all rehab services in your facility, support your team by providing direct patient care, and ensure the highest standards of rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a rehabilitation discipline (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology) required; Master's degree preferred
  • Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice
  • Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third party billing required
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and problem solve appropriately
  • Must have thorough knowledge of all state practice acts
  • Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, patients, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public
  • Must possess the ability to effectively manage/motivate staff
