Job SummaryThis position is responsible for leading the organization's marketing analytics strategy and delivering data-driven insights that accelerate growth, improve customer engagement, and optimize marketing investments. This leader partners closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, and Executive Leadership to provide strategic guidance through advanced analytics, customer insights, omnichannel measurement, forecasting, customer journey analytics, and performance reporting. The role will champion data-driven decision making, enhance marketing measurement capabilities, and develop scalable analytics solutions that improve acquisition, retention, customer experience, and return on marketing investment. The role also oversees a team of analytics professionals responsible for transforming complex internal and external data into actionable business recommendations.
Please note, this is a HYBRID role and requires in-office hours 3 days a week at the respective office locations.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for leading the planning, managing and controlling the activities of the Marketing department that provides business intelligence support for business segments and establishes the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data-driven marketing decision making.
Leading initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources; bringing expertise or identifying subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis;
Advising marketing teams by providing data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities that inform brand strategy, demand generation, customer engagement, retention, and growth initiatives.
Ensuring that policies and procedures align with corporate vision; selecting, developing and evaluating personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
Prepare departmental budget, allocate resources, and prioritize investments that support strategic business objectives.
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with leadership, business partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong understanding of marketing measurement, attribution methodologies, experimentation design, forecasting, customer journey analytics, and ROI analysis

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with interacting with corporate leadership and external parties.

  • Ability to initiate and develop long-term business relationships in the marketplace.

  • Ability to translate complex, technical subjects into clear business-oriented communications.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience leading marketing analytics, customer insights, growth analytics, or commercial analytics functions within healthcare, insurance, financial services, retail, consumer, or other highly regulated industries.

  • Experience partnering directly with CMO-level leadership and leading analytics programs that support customer acquisition, member engagement, retention, brand measurement, marketing effectiveness, and enterprise growth strategies.

  • Expertise in customer segmentation, predictive analytics, propensity modeling, customer lifetime value (CLV), audience targeting, and personalization strategies.

  • Experience implementing and leveraging marketing mix modeling (MMM), multi-touch attribution (MTA), media measurement, incrementality testing, and campaign optimization frameworks.

  • Experience with customer data platforms (CDPs), marketing automation technologies, digital analytics tools, and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics.

  • Demonstrated success building enterprise measurement frameworks that connect brand, demand generation, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue outcomes.

  • Experience leveraging AI and machine learning-driven insights to improve customer engagement, marketing effectiveness, and business performance.

  • Proven capability developing business cases, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and evaluating returns on marketing and analytics investments.

  • Experience overseeing departmental budgets and optimizing resource allocation across strategic priorities.

  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling high-performing marketing analytics organizations that leverage advanced measurement, customer insights, AI-enabled analytics, and data-driven decision making to improve business outcomes.
