Job Title: Marketing Specialist - Part-time (Up to 20 hours per week)

Location: Brentwood, TN - Hybrid
Pay: $35,000-$45,000 based on experience
The Part-time Marketing Specialist will play a role in developing and executing marketing and communication strategies that elevate PMC's brands, promote our services, and drive patient engagement in our hospital and health system programs. This position requires a creative self-starter with strong design and communication skills and a deep understanding of behavioral health dynamics. The ideal candidate will bring both a strategic mindset and hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and graphic design, along with an appreciation for the unique nuances of mental health care and rural hospital markets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Creative Design: Assist in the development of visually compelling marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, booklets, rack cards, social media graphics, website design elements, and event collateral, tailored to the behavioral health sector and rural communities.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns with a focus on health system partnerships that drive patient admissions, ensuring that messaging is relevant to local needs and aligns with organizational goals.
  • Content Creation & Strategy: Develop and write high-quality content, including blogs, newsletters, and social media posts, with an emphasis on visual storytelling that engages rural populations.
  • Hospital Team Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between PMC and hospital marketing teams, coordinating projects and ensuring alignment with hospital goals. This includes gathering input from clinical and administrative staff, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and facilitating smooth communication throughout the process.
  • Event Marketing: Support and promote community outreach events, including presentations, Mental Health Awareness days, web events, and workshops, specifically designed for rural hospitals and their stakeholders.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns, analyze key metrics, and provide actionable insights to drive improvements in strategy and content.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistency in PMC's brand identities, adapting design elements to resonate with rural hospital programs while maintaining overall brand integrity. Develop an understanding of hospital partner brands.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical staff, community outreach teams, and other stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts are integrated and impactful.
  • Market Research: Conduct research into the unique needs and challenges of rural hospital programs and communities to ensure all marketing initiatives are relevant and impactful.

Requirements
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on graphic design and experience working with healthcare, particularly rural hospitals. Agency experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing marketing campaigns that engage rural populations.
  • Design & Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, SalesForce) and social media management.
  • Experience designing marketing assets that are both visually appealing and functional for rural healthcare settings.
