About the job

As an Accounts Payable Specialist you will play a vital role in keeping our business running smoothly. In this fast-paced position, you'll collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders, solve payment and invoice challenges, leverage technology to improve processes, and make a direct impact on financial operations. It's an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, teamwork, and continuous growth.

Currently, this is a hybrid opportunity located in Richmond, VA.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • High volume invoice processing on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Handle three-way match, coding, review and reconciliation of vendor statements.
  • Research and resolve PO/invoice discrepancies.
  • Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Identify ideas for process improvement.

What you know:

You have a High School diploma and:

  • 3+ years' experience (preferred) and proficiency in an automated AP environment.
  • Experience working in a Shared Services environment.
  • Experience working with multiple ERP systems (3 or more).
  • Associates in Accounting (preferred).
  • Fluent in Spanish (preferred).
