Position Summary

This position requires a highly motivated self-starter who possesses strong initiative and the ability to complete multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. He or she needs the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts to solicit support to complete tasks. This position requires an individual who is very detail-oriented, organized and has the ability to prioritize a large list of clients and their needs.

Job Essentials, Responsibilities, Duties

  • Manage all internal and external relationships between insurance brokers and providers to perform, document and regularly update client risk assessments
  • Review and manage all insurance applications and renewals on behalf of Tri Star clients
  • Review and proactively suggest updates and changes to existing insurance policies to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Assign and manage projects within designated software as it relates to the Insurance department
  • Implement processes and manage all insurance related projects for Tri Star clients
  • Partner with insurance brokers to ensure insurance policies meet client needs
  • Manage client files, insurance contracts, applications, renewals, and documentation in our internal database
  • Preparation of ad hoc analysis as necessary
  • Establish strong working relationships with clients and their associates through the delivery of timely and accurate information
  • Conduct periodic reviews of existing policies to ensure ongoing compliance and identify any changes in risk profiles that may require adjustments to coverage or premiums
  • Summarize the nature of policies, insurance gaps, payment frequency, and all other issues of note for clients
  • Review insurance applications and related documents to identify any discrepancies or missing information that may impact underwriting decisions
  • Oversee annual insurance audit process on behalf of our clients
  • Assist in the coordination of onsite property evaluations as needed
  • Develop presentations, internal materials, and meeting agendas for various levels of management relative to insurance administration
  • Participate as an active member of the management team and contribute to best accounting practices
  • Responsible for training, ongoing coaching, development, and education of the Tri Star Insurance team
  • Offer improvements to meet best business practice for company standards
  • Proactively identify issues and concerns and communicate solutions to management
  • Participate as needed in client transition in and out of Tri Star as it relates to insurance needs
  • Stay up to date on industry standards and developments
  • Lead staff wide trainings for major insurance deliverables
  • Establish strong working relationships with Tri Star Sports & Entertainment team, leveraging internal resources where appropriate to meet Client’s needs
  • Assist in the coordination of onsite property evaluations as needed
  • Develop presentations, internal materials, and meeting agendas for various levels of management related to insurance administration

Qualifications

  • BS in Business, Insurance, or Financial related field is highly preferred
  • Experience working at an Insurance Agency or Business Management Firm
  • Ability to reliably commute and report to the Tri Star office
  • Experience within the Entertainment Industry, Family Office environment, or working with High Net Worth Individuals, preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Must hold active insurance licenses in California, with preference given to candidates who hold insurance licenses in multiple US states
