Job description

SUMMARY  

The HRIS Analyst III is a senior-level functional and technical resource responsible for implementing, administering, supporting, and optimizing the organization’s HR technology platforms. This position leads large-scale, cross-functional implementations and enhancements and has specific accountability for HR technology project management, system configuration, vendor governance, reporting and analytics, data quality, and complex issue resolution.

Working collaboratively with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, business leaders, and external vendors, the HRIS Analyst III translates business requirements into scalable technology solutions that improve HR data, transaction processes, operational efficiency, and the user experience. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Dayforce or UKG and an applicant tracking system such as iCIMS, preferably within a growing global organization supporting the United States, Canada, UK, India, and the Philippines. 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a senior administrator and subject-matter expert for HR technology platforms such as Dayforce, UKG, iCIMS and similar platforms.
  • Lead HR technology implementations, conversions, integrations, and major enhancements from requirements gathering through deployment and post-launch support.
  • Configure and maintain workflows, forms, fields, organizational structures, business rules, security roles, permissions, notifications, and system settings.
  • Manage implementation deliverables, including project plans, requirements, process maps, configuration documents, test scripts, data mappings, and cutover plans.
  • Coordinate data collection, cleansing, conversion, validation, reconciliation, and testing for new employees, locations, business units, and acquired organizations.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts supporting workforce, recruiting, payroll, benefits, compliance, and operational decision-making.
  • Investigate and resolve complex system, data, workflow, integration, access, and reporting issues, including coordination with IT and external vendors.
  • Monitor data quality, integrations, scheduled processes, security access, and system controls; implement corrective and preventive improvements.
  • Evaluate HR processes and recommend technology solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, scalability, and the user experience.
  • Maintain system documentation and provide clear communications, procedures, and training for HR teams, leaders, employees, and other system users.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Eight or more years of progressively responsible HRIS, HCM, HR technology, or related business systems experience.
  • Five or more years of hands-on HRIS/HCM administration experience, including at least three years of configuration or advanced administration experience with Dayforce, UKG, or a comparable enterprise HCM platform.
  • Experience administering or providing advanced support for iCIMS or a comparable applicant tracking system.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or serving in a key functional role on HR technology implementations, system conversions, integrations, or major configuration initiatives.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional designs, workflows, configurations, reports, and scalable system solutions.
  • Experience with data mapping, cleansing, conversion, validation, reconciliation, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel and experience with tools such as Dayforce Reporting, UKG People Analytics/Cognos, SQL, Power BI, Looker or Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance, system security, integrations, audit controls, and confidential information handling.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project-management, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex priorities.

This is a Hybrid role in Richardson, TX (Tuesday & Wednesday).
