MARKETING MANAGER, SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT

WHAT YOU WILL DO
You're the kind of marketer who doesn't wait to be told what's needed: you see the gap and move to fill it. In this role, you lead marketing strategy and sales enablement for Primrose Schools' franchise growth and development efforts, building the messaging, materials, tools, events, and content that move prospective Franchise Owners from "curious" to "committed"
You'll own the tools that equip the franchise sales and real estate teams to convert prospects into signed Franchise Owners, translating business goals into compelling creative, owning events, and using data and feedback to make continuous improvements.
This role sits within the Brand Management team and partners closely with School Development to translate brand strategy into practical, high-impact marketing tools that drive results.
Strategy, Insights & Optimization
  • Partner with Development Leadership to develop messaging strategies that reflect evolving growth priorities ensuring messaging is aligned, consistent, and effectively executed across earned, owned, and sales channels.
  • Monitor candidate engagement across marketing and sales touchpoints and identify opportunities to improve progression through the process.
  • Use candidate/lead data to inform content strategy
  • Report on sales enablement content performance and recommend improvements
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of franchise development marketing initiatives and candidate engagement efforts, recommending and implementing improvements to optimize results.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market insights to inform development marketing strategy and support organizational growth objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team processes, workflows, and resource allocation to enhance efficiency and impact.

Sales Enablement Content to Support Franchise Candidate Journey
  • Support marketing touchpoints across the franchise candidate pipeline, from initial inquiry through award
  • Partner with leadership to identify content gaps and prioritize new asset development
  • Develop and maintain franchise sales collateral; manage a sales asset library and maintain current, on-brand materials at all times
  • Create real estate/site selection materials that support broker and landlord conversations
  • Develop and execute prospect-facing events and experiences, including Discovery Days, conferences, webinars, and events, to educate, engage, and convert prospective franchise owners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Leadership
  • Work with Legal to ensure all sales materials comply with Federal Trade Commission franchise disclosure rules and stay aligned with the FDD
  • Partner with Brand Management to ensure sales tools reflect current brand standards, visual identity, and positioning
  • Partner cross-functionally to understand evolving sales priorities and translate them into marketing deliverables
  • Lead direct report, providing clear direction, ongoing feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance and quality oversight to ensure all work and deliverables are executed to drive individual and team success.

Budget & Resource Management
• Develop and manage the school development marketing budget, ensuring investments align with priorities and objectives.
• Monitor budget performance, forecast spending, and identify opportunities to optimize resources
• Manage relationships with agencies, vendors, and external partners, including trade show organizers, exhibitor-appointed contractors, ensuring work is delivered on time, in budget, and aligned to defined objectives.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing preferred
  • 5-7 years of mixed marketing experience in advertising, PR, online, and social - experience in franchise sales, franchise development or with franchise brands is a plus; curiosity and ability to learn fast matters more
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines while delivering service excellence
  • Hands-on and strategic in equal measure - you're as comfortable building a one-pager as you are presenting a content strategy
