Job description

The Program Director is responsible for maintaining the accreditation of and performing all relevant oversight and regulatory functions of a fellowship program that meets specified criteria approved by CAO, DPIC, and PIC. The Program Director facilitates the fellows' ethical, professional and personal development through education and evaluation and provides supervision of the fellows that supports safe and appropriate patient care in accordance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Institutional requirements. The Program Director is responsible to the Chair of Graduate Medical Education at Moffitt Cancer Center and to the Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida for the overall conduct of the fellowship program.

Experience Requirement:
At least 3 years experience as a Hem Onc faculty member, responsible for supervision of Hem Onc fellows, residents and
medical students.
Preferred Experience:
At least 3 years experience as an associate program director in a Hem Onc fellowship program.
Licensure/Certification:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • MD/OD

Education Minimum Requirements:
  • MD/DO
  • Hematology/Oncology Board eligible (or certified)
