About The Great Lane

The Great Lane is the driver-recruiting and public-facing brand of Grewal Trucking Inc., an established Louisville carrier operating under USDOT 2054420 and MC 719987.

The Great Lane is hiring four full-time CDL-A Regional Truck Drivers based in Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay, Miles, and Home Time

  • Up to $0.80 CPM based on experience
  • Eligible $2,200 gross-pay guarantee for full scheduled workweeks under written company policy
  • Approximately 2,400–3,200 typical weekly miles
  • Weekly home time
  • Minimum 34-hour reset at home
  • Louisville is the reporting and home-time base

Typical weekly miles are not guaranteed. Recruiting reviews pay, guarantee eligibility, lane expectations and home-time arrangements before acceptance.

Route

Drivers operate from Kentucky and Indiana to the Northeast and back. Common operating states may include Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, Maine, New York and Virginia.

This is a regional company-driver position. It is not a local home-daily, remote or nationwide home-base role.

Equipment and Support

  • 2023-or-newer Volvo and Freightliner tractors
  • Great Dane dry-van and flatbed trailers
  • New trucks and trailers continue to be added
  • Expanded yard, facility and repair support
  • Direct communication with Louisville recruiting

Additional Compensation and Benefits

Qualifying payments and benefits are governed by written company policy:

  • $15 per hour after the first two hours of qualifying detention
  • $175 for a qualifying company-related overnight layover
  • $100 for each qualifying clean inspection
  • Quarterly equipment-care recognition
  • Two weeks paid vacation
  • One-day paid orientation
  • Pet-friendly policy

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Class A CDL
  • Class A CDL held for at least two years
  • At least one year of verified tractor-trailer experience
  • No more than two moving violations during the previous 24 months
  • No at-fault accidents during the previous 24 months
  • Must meet DOT and company qualification requirements
  • Must be able to report reliably to Louisville
  • Must be willing to run Kentucky/Indiana to the Northeast and back
