Job description

Position Title: Digital Communications Specialist
Duration: 12-month base period with three 12-month option periods
Work Location: Primarily Remote
USCIS Site: 5900 Capital Gateway Drive, Camp Springs, MD 20588
KeenLogic is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Communications Specialist to support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Verification Division (VER). This position will support the planning, development, execution, and optimization of digital outreach campaigns designed to increase awareness, engagement, and effective use of USCIS Verification programs. The Digital Communications Specialist will support communications across email, web, social media, and other digital channels while using campaign performance data to help improve future outreach efforts.
This is a primarily remote position supporting USCIS Headquarters, 5900 Capital Gateway Drive, Camp Springs, MD 20588. Contractor personnel may work remotely; however, the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) may request in-person meetings or engagements as needed.
This is a full-time position offering Fortune 500-level health/dental/vision, PTO, paid federal holidays, 401(k), and Life Insurance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for government clearances.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience assisting in the planning for the strategic direction, development, and execution of digital outreach campaigns.
  • BA in Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Communications, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Media or Studio Arts, or related field.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with planning and execution of digital communications and outreach campaigns.
  • Support email, web, social media, and other digital communication initiatives.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of social media content banks and monthly content calendars.
  • Develop and transmit direct email campaigns.
  • Compile, maintain, and analyze email distribution lists.
  • Utilize basic coding functionality within email delivery systems to incorporate graphics and support automated communications.
  • Support welcome messages, newsletters, and promotional email campaigns.
  • Track open, click-through, unsubscribe, and other engagement metrics.
  • Prepare analytics reports and recommend improvements to digital engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate digital campaign activities with broader communications and outreach initiatives.
