Summary:
We are seeking a Marketing Database Director to join our team in Fort Washington, PA. We're looking for an experienced marketing database/CRM system manager to play a major role in driving our data strategy to enable targeted marketing campaigns and marketing automation. The role will be responsible improving our database structure, and optimizing communications with our audience. This role will be responsible for segmenting the database and creating lead pools to support all marketing campaigns. You will also be in charge of reviewing, researching, and implementing a data governance strategy within the marketing database.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee our Customer database
  • Drive the database strategy working closely with Marketing so that customer information is accessible and actionable to drive revenue and profit growth
  • Work with external 3rd party data vendors for ongoing updates to data fields and improvements to our audience tagging
  • Works deeply cross-functional with all marketing and financial teams as well as many of the back office technical teams including, but not limited to, application development.
  • Oversee/supervise marketing analytics, focusing on customer acquisition, and lifetime value
  • Establish and maintain best practices in data governance and hygiene
  • Capture behavioral information on our audience to improve targeting efforts
  • Supervise internal and external statisticians to build predictive models and drive effective segmentation

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience in database marketing and management and accustomed to working with millions of records
  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing or Technology
  • 3+ years of experience managing CRM/marketing databases
  • Hands on, results driven, and thrives in a fast past environment
  • Highly detail- oriented, particularly related to reviewing and manipulating large amounts of data
  • Knowledge of data governance and hygiene best practices
  • Ability to leverage Excel functionality to streamline project processe
