Job description

The Director, Corporate Development is responsible for driving ATS's inorganic growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions and strategic initiatives. This role partners closely with senior leadership to identify, evaluate, and execute high-impact transactions that align with enterprise growth priorities.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, evaluate, and source acquisition targets by building relationships with company owners, advisors, investment bankers, and intermediaries
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities aligned with company strategy across multi-site operations
  • Lead transactions from initial assessment through closing, including structuring and negotiating letters of intent and definitive agreements
  • Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses including discounted cash flow, comparable company, and precedent transaction methods
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as legal, finance, operations, and technical teams throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Manage external advisors and ensure alignment across all parties during deal execution
  • Lead comprehensive due diligence across financial, legal, tax, operational, commercial, and technical areas
  • Identify key risks and opportunities and present findings to senior leadership
  • Develop investment memos, strategic rationale, and presentation materials for executive approval

Required Experience and Skills:
  • 7-10+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development
  • Demonstrated success executing transactions in complex, multi-site environments
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation expertise
  • Experience managing end-to-end M&A transaction processes
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with business owners, advisors, and private equity firms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence
  • Self-starter with ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Additional requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or equivalent to comply with U.S. Department of Defense ITAR requirements
