Job description

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager with durable medical equipment (DME) industry experience to support the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of Analytics products that improve patient outcomes and support clinical and operational excellence. This role will work cross-functionally with engineering, regulatory, quality, sales, operations, customer service, and clinical stakeholders to help bring customer-centered, compliant, and commercially successful products to market.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the DME landscape, including customer needs, reimbursement considerations, and regulatory requirements, and is excited to grow within a fast-paced product organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the product strategy, roadmap planning, and lifecycle management for DME products and related services.

  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers, clinicians, sales teams, service teams, and distribution partners to identify product needs and improvement opportunities.

  • Translate market, customer, and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and specifications.

  • Partner with engineering, quality, regulatory, and operations teams lead product development, updates, and launch readiness.

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and voice-of-customer activities to inform product decisions.

  • Defining product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market plans in collaboration with marketing and sales.

  • Help monitor product performance through KPIs, customer feedback, complaint trends, and business metrics.

  • Create and maintain product documentation, training materials, and internal launch communications.

  • Ensure product decisions align with applicable regulatory, quality, and reimbursement considerations within the DME space.

  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to keep product initiatives on track for scope, timelines, and business goals.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across product processes, customer experience, and operational workflows.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, life sciences, healthcare administration, or related field.

  • 1-3 years of direct experience in the durable medical equipment industry.

  • Working knowledge of DME products, workflows, and industry stakeholders, including providers, patients, distributors, and payers.

  • Familiarity with reimbursement concepts.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience with KPI's and metrics for success in the DME/HME industry.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Eagerness to learn and transition into the technology industry.

  • Experience with DME categories such as mobility, respiratory, sleep, rehabilitation, patient monitoring, or home care equipment.

  • Familiarity with FDA-regulated products, quality systems, complaint handling, or post-market product support.

  • Exposure to HCPCS coding, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, or payer-related product considerations.

  • Experience supporting product launches, SKU rationalization, or portfolio optimization.

  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, clinical workflows, and distribution or fulfillment models relevant to DME.
