Job description

Clear Channel Outdoor Job Summary: The Director, Client Solutions will be a new business professional, generating Airport portfolio advertising revenue through consultative selling directly to national, regional and emerging B2C and B2B brand owners in a designated territory and in collaboration with sales leadership. This role provides the opportunity to represent our industry-leading portfolio of products, services, and capabilities while delivering innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Exceeds monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue goals.
  • Identifies high-probability, high-value companies and individuals as potential customers.
  • Leverages tools, resources, and research to identify, qualify, and connect with prospective customers.
  • Generates consistent outreach activities to secure weekly customer meetings.
  • Conducts Customer Needs Assessments (CNAs) to uncover customer insights, identify opportunities, and drive proposal development.
  • Leads cross-functional collaboration by providing insights and coordinating activities to support outreach, customer meetings, and key deliverables.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by coordinating account activities with Creative, Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams.
  • Maintains accurate Salesforce records and manages the sales pipeline to provide visibility into opportunities and forecasted business.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience preferred
  • Work Experience: 8+ years of progressive sales experience and success using consultative, customer needs analysis methods. 5+ years of media sales experience required. Established network of senior brand and marketing decision-makers, with a demonstrated ability to leverage industry relationships to generate new business opportunities and drive growth preferred.
  • Skills: Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them. Strong knowledge of media and advertising industry, business cycles, key revenue and expense drivers. Excellent verbal and written communications skills including delivering effective presentations and leading meetings. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and social media platforms.

Physical Demands

Targeted Compensation Rate

The Targeted Compensation Rate for this New York position is: Rate: $125,000-$150,000 + Commission. This position may be bonus eligible, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan. Ultimate compensation will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, scope and responsibility of the position, as well as pursuant to salary market benchmarks. This salary range is a good-faith estimate of the salary for this position.
