In the hangar, on the ground, and behind the scenes. Enabling global flight, with passion.

Position Summary

Jet Aviation is redefining private aviation—one relationship, one journey, one exceptional experience at a time. As we expand our U.S. Charter Sales team, we’re seeking driven, entrepreneurial sales leaders to champion the Northeast (Teterboro, NJ-based) and Southeast (Opa Locka or West Palm Beach, FL-based) territories. This is a unique opportunity to join a global leader with a robust managed fleet, a collaborative culture, and a reputation for excellence.

We’re looking for “hunters”—proven sales professionals with an existing retail charter book of business, ready to leverage their network and expertise to drive growth. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch environment and are passionate about delivering world-class service, Jet Aviation offers the platform, support, and vision to take your career to new heights.

Your Profile

As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving the growth of sales and revenue specifically within our Charter division. You will develop and execute strategies to identify new business opportunities, nurture existing client relationships, and close high-value deals. This is an individual contributor role, allowing you to focus fully on high-level strategic sales execution.

You will also play a hands-on role in managing the end-to-end charter experience for our clients. This includes booking, accommodating changes to, and confirming all details for charter trips, while coordinating directly with our Charter Operations Team to deliver a superior and consistent level of service. You will watch over every trip and detail to ensure a seamless and successful charter experience.

This role is an office-based position, on a hybrid schedule, working at least three times weekly from the office. Our ideal candidate will work from the locations listed above, and travel as needed for client interaction and team collaboration. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this exempt position will be as follows: $100,000 - $110,000. The role is also accompanied by performance-based incentives.

Key Qualifications
  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrated success in private jet charter sales, with a strong, portable book of retail charter business and the ability to sell end-user/retail charters to high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and charter users.
  • Networked & Trusted: Deep connections with clients, and operators—especially in the Northeast or Southeast U.S. For the Southeast, bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates with ties to Latin American/South American markets are strongly preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently to build and close new business.
  • Client-Focused: Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact successfully with C-level executives and affluent individuals, both in person and via telephone. You possess the ability to stay calm and solutions-oriented in high-stress situations to accommodate customer demands.
  • Collaborative: You value teamwork and know how to partner with operations, quoting, and contracting teams to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
  • Adaptable: You thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment and are eager to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Market Awareness: You maintain thorough knowledge of fleet availability, competitor pricing, and regional travel trends.
  • CRM Proficiency: You are diligent in logging customer interactions, account changes, and sales pipelines in CRM systems to provide accurate forecasting to management.
Your Role

As Charter Sales Director, you will:

  • Drive Revenue: Identify, pursue, and close new charter opportunities, expanding Jet Aviation’s presence in your territory. Proactively contact prospective air charter clients to originate sales opportunities through email campaigns, cold calling, promotional events, and site visits.
  • Leverage Your Book: Bring your existing client relationships and market knowledge to deliver immediate impact, driving increases in both client base and retention for ad hoc and block charter programs.
  • Deliver Excellence: Book, accommodate changes to, and confirm details for charter trips. Oversee every aspect of the charter experience, coordinating directly with the Flight Operations Team to ensure superior and consistent service.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with the Charter Operations team for quoting and contracting, while maintaining ownership of the client relationship and ensuring accuracy throughout the process.
  • Champion the Brand: Represent Jet Aviation at industry events and within your network, embodying our values and commitment to service. Establish and maintain industry knowledge and competition, including relationships with key wholesale vendors.
  • Stay Informed: Maintain a pulse on fleet availability, competitor pricing, and regional travel trends, and ensure all customer interactions and sales activities are accurately logged in CRM for effective pipeline management and forecasting.
