Job description

Summary

The Card Services Representative serves as a key member of the Card Services team, providing direct support to members and internal staff for debit, credit, and ATM card services. This role is responsible for resolving card-related issues, processing transactions, and ensuring a high-quality member experience through accurate and timely service.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities 

  •  Serve as a primary point of contact for card-related inquiries from members and staff. 
  •  Process debit and ATM card disputes in accordance with required timelines and ensure proper  documentation. 
  • Ensure members receive timely provisional credit and appropriate follow-up on disputes. 
  • Perform routine operational tasks such as reconciliations, reporting, and card maintenance activities. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues including declined transactions, account activity questions, and card usage concerns. 
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve processes. 
  • Serve as backup support within the Finance team as needed. 
  • Assist with departmental projects and other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and Certifications

  • A high school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 to 2 years of customer service, banking, or card services experience preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
