Description
Role
To perform necessary card service functions of the credit union by serving members' needs in handling credit and debit card inquiries.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Process credit and debit card disputes/chargebacks.
- Reviews credit and debit card reports daily and takes needed action per policies and procedures.
- Researches and resolves member inquiries regarding account statements, disputes, and adjustments.
- Answers incoming phone calls to the card services department and provides members or staff with information and direction regarding credit and debit cards and related accounts.
- Performs supporting administrative tasks.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Intermediate PC knowledge with basic Microsoft Office skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Up to one year of similar or related experience
- Familiar with operation of 10-key calculator
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills while using a pleasant tone and common conversational courtesies
- Good interpersonal skills to include being courteous, diplomatic, and tactful
- Previous experience within card services environment, including knowledge of regulations and applicable laws
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to multitask when necessary

- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
