Job Overview:

THETEAM is looking for a motivated individual to join the Brands team, in a brand strategy and insights capacity. This position is responsible for providing support to the larger Brand Strategy and Insights team along with the Brand account team members by assisting with research, brand measurement, client reports and presentations, client services, project coordination, and implementation of timelines and budgets. Responds to client needs and requests and is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage timely and regular upkeep of portfolio-wide documents (property and contract overviews, budgets, status trackers, meeting documents, notes, resource folders etc.)
  • Performs research and analysis of various demographics and insights to help inform portfolio-wide strategies and initiatives.
  • Manages syndicated research platforms (e.g. Global Web Index) to create fan profiles, support landscape analysis projects and other strategy-related projects.
  • Works closely with specific vertical teams to set objectives and KPIs and develop and execute program / campaign measurement plans.
  • Creates and executes brand health surveys while developing insights and implications based on client objectives.
  • Conducts property valuations including contract valuations, activation valuations, and earned media analysis.
  • Uses data and analytics to inform strategy, measurement plans, POVs, and partnership negotiations.
  • Monitors media trends and the changing sports, entertainment, and cultural landscape to keep client and internal teams well-informed and to maintain THETEAM's position as the agency that makes data-based decisions and leads with insights.
  • Provides weekly updates to team by researching industry updates and news regarding relevant projects to the team and other members of the Marketing division.
  • Provides daily updates to the team on the status of ongoing portfolio projects and helps manage expectations and timelines for measurement.
  • Works creatively with team members to develop and execute deck creation and report materials; presenting to client teams on select projects.
  • Performs various tasks as needed by internal team members such as research, reports, daily updates, editing of materials, etc.
  • Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Two years of relevant experience with minimum one year of direct experience in insights driven work preferred.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry with a working knowledge of what's happening across culture today and into tomorrow.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint and Excel.
  • The ability to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  • Must be flexible and comfortable to assume multiple roles as needed by the team.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Maintains a familiarity with technology and consumer electronics specifically as it relates to the mobile device market and key players.
  • Possess an interest in the role of technology in today's consumer sports and entertainment experience.
  • Can support partnerships of varying degrees of complexities across types including sports and entertainment but also campaigns to support client's diversity, equity, & inclusion initiatives.

  • Ability to think creatively in a team environment.
  • Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances.
