THE ROLE
SharkNinja is looking for a Senior Motion Designer, Direct to Consumer (DTC) with deep motion and video editing skills to join our Global New Product Development (NPD) creative team. As the Senior Motion Designer, you'll bring our product stories to life through video, animation, and motion, creating content that's built for DTC performance across web, social, email, and paid channels. You're a natural storyteller who understands the power of motion to demonstrate product, evoke emotion, and drive action. You'll work on both Shark and Ninja brands across a wide range of categories, from hair care to kitchen systems to outdoor cooking.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Concept, edit, and animate video and motion content for Shark and Ninja DTC channels, including sharkninja.com, email, paid social, and organic social
  • Create product demonstration videos, lifestyle content, and brand storytelling pieces that convert and engage
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and NPD creative team to develop motion and video across the product launch lifecycle
  • Design and animate digital assets including GIFs, HTML5 banners, and web-native motion content
  • Partner with producers, photographers, and brand teams to integrate footage and assets into polished final deliverables
  • Develop and maintain motion guidelines and animation templates that bring efficiency and consistency to the team
  • Stay ahead of trends in video storytelling, social content formats (TikTok, Reels, Shorts), and platform-specific creative best practices
  • Manage your own post-production workflow across multiple projects simultaneously

WHAT YOU BRING
  • 5+ years of experience in video editing, motion design, and animation, ideally in a brand, agency, or in-house DTC/e-commerce environment
  • Exceptional portfolio demonstrating product video, motion graphics, and storytelling across digital formats
  • Familiar with producing AI Generative Creative using node-based systems: Flora, Weavy
  • Proficiency using Open AI or Claude
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; familiarity with DaVinci Resolve a plus
  • Strong foundation in graphic design, comfortable working in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience designing for social-native formats (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts)
  • Understanding of how motion creative performs in paid and owned channels
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality work to tight timelines
  • Experience with consumer electronics, beauty, kitchen, or lifestyle brands strongly preferred

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
