Job description

Services provides global solutions that help corporations, financial institutions, public sector and commercial clients optimize operations and drive their business forward. Through our five business lines - Liquidity Management Services, Payments, Trade & Working Capital Solutions, Investor Services and Issuer Services - we provide cash management, payments/receivables solutions, working capital solutions, post-trade securities services and issuer services across Citi's global network. Citi is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead the delivery of AI-powered digital transformation programs across its Global Services division - one of the most strategically significant portfolios in the firm.

Sitting within the Services Program Management & Execution team, this role drives the structured delivery of intelligent digital experiences used by millions of clients worldwide to manage transactions, accounts, and portfolios. This is a senior leadership opportunity to operate at the intersection of financial services and artificial intelligence, translating bold strategic ambition into measurable, global-scale delivery. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple AI and digital transformation programs across Global Services, ensuring all initiatives meet defined milestones, timelines, and business objectives.

Establish and manage a robust program governance framework - aligned to the global delivery model and agreed by all stakeholders - that drives accountability and clear decision-making across AI-driven workstreams. Develop and maintain detailed, end-to-end program plans that define execution tasks, sequenced timelines, and cross-program dependencies, ensuring AI and digital initiatives stay on track at every stage. Prepare senior management reporting and decision materials that provide transparent status updates across complex AI programs, surface risks early, and enable timely executive escalation.

Identify, assess, and actively manage program risks and issues - anticipating delays in technology-dependent workstreams, resolving blockers, and communicating clearly across both the team and senior stakeholders. Partner closely with Product Management, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure continuous alignment between AI digital program delivery and the overall Services strategy. Own program budget management across AI and digital initiatives, tracking expenditure against plan, ensuring cost efficiency, and eliminating unnecessary spend throughout the program lifecycle.

Maintain KPIs and KRIs aligned to business goals, evaluate program performance continuously, and embed lessons learned to sharpen future delivery of intelligent digital solutions. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree 8 or more years of program or project management experience, gained within IT, technical business, financial services, markets, or banking environments - ideally with exposure to AI, digital, or technology transformation programs. Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-dependency portfolios or programs - including those involving digital platforms or technology-driven change - from initiation through to close.

In-depth understanding of the business impact of technical and AI-driven contributions, with the commercial awareness to connect technology delivery to measurable client and financial outcomes. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI and digital program status into clear, concise messages for senior sponsors and navigate competing stakeholder priorities across a large, matrixed organization. Resilient and outcome-focused, with a track record of influencing positive delivery results and maintaining high governance and control standards across fast-moving, technology-led programs.

Decisive and adaptable, with the forward-planning instincts to anticipate problems in complex digital environments, resolve them efficiently, and keep delivery momentum without unnecessary escalation. Ability to define clear roles and accountability across cross-functional teams spanning Product, Technology, and Operations in pursuit of AI and digital program execution. Beneficial Skills & Qualifications PMI PMP certification or equivalent program management qualification.

Experience delivering programs across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the flexibility to apply the right approach to AI and technology-driven programme contexts. Familiarity with AI-powered digital platforms, client-facing technology products, or intelligent automation in a financial services environment. Knowledge of treasury services, securities, or transaction banking, providing valuable context when partnering with business stakeholders across Citi Services.

What We Offer At Citi, you will be part of a high-performing team operating at the center of global commerce - working on AI and digital programs that directly shape how the world's leading corporations and financial institutions manage critical financial operations. This is a role where your leadership creates real, technology-driven business impact at scale. Strategic ownership of AI and digital transformation programs at a senior level, with direct exposure to Citi's most consequential technology initiatives and executive stakeholders across the globe.

The opportunity to work at the intersection of financial services and artificial intelligence, delivering programs that redefine how millions of clients interact with their data and execute critical transactions. A collaborative, performance-driven environment where cross-functional partnership - across Product, Operations, and Technology - is central to how AI and digital programs get delivered. Continuous professional development, with access to learning resources and exposure to globally significant AI and digital programs that expand both strategic and domain expertise.

Competitive financial wellbeing and compensation, commensurate with a senior leadership role at a global financial institution. A global platform and network, offering the scope and connectivity that only a firm of Citi's scale can provide. Apply now to lead the AI and digital programs that are redefining global financial services - and deliver the future of how Citi's clients operate at scale.
