Their duties often include project planning, timeline management, stakeholder communication, and performance tracking to optimize digital transformation efforts.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Digital Program Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Digital Program Manager, you need expertise in project management, digital strategy, and cross-functional leadership, often supported by a relevant degree and certifications like PMP or Agile. Familiarity with digital project management tools (such as Jira, Asana, or Trello) and analytics platforms is typically required. These competencies ensure the successful delivery of complex digital initiatives, alignment with business goals, and effective collaboration across teams.

What are some common challenges Digital Program Managers face when coordinating cross-functional teams?

The Opportunity

Digital Delivery Program Manager

Are you passionate about connecting technology, data, and project delivery to drive meaningful business impact?

RS&H is seeking a Digital Delivery Program Manager to help advance strategic digital initiatives across the firm. In this highly visible role, you'll partner with leaders across our operational business units, technology, and project delivery teams to develop reporting frameworks, drive digital adoption, support organizational change, and help shape the future of digital delivery.

This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide initiatives, work directly with Digital Delivery leadership, and help build the systems, metrics, and processes that support innovation across the organization. This role will work across all markets (Transportation, Aviation, Federal, Aerospace, Corporate, and Health & Science) spanning projects involving Infrastructure, Buildings, and Construction Management.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and coordinate Digital Delivery initiatives across multiple business units
  • Develop program roadmaps, dashboards, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics for executive teams
  • Partner with business and digital leaders to align strategy, technology, and operational goals
  • Support adoption of digital tools, standards, and best practices
  • Facilitate governance, communication, and change management activities
  • Analyze program performance and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Support strategic pursuits by showcasing digital capabilities and innovative project delivery approaches

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, GIS, Mathematics, Construction Management, or another STEM-related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, design technology, digital delivery, project execution, or organizational transformation
  • Experience within the AEC industry or related technical industries
  • Strong understanding of project delivery processes and technology-enabled workflows
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority
  • Strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
  • PMP certification (or ability to obtain within six months)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BIM, VDC, GIS, Digital Twins, data analytics, AI-enabled workflows, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, ProjectWise, or similar platforms
  • Professional registration (PE, RA) or related industry certifications
  • Travel up to 20% may be required based on business needs.

Why Join RS&H?

  • 100% employee-owned firm
  • Opportunity to shape enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives
  • Direct collaboration with senior leadership
  • Nationally recognized architecture, engineering, and consulting firm
  • Hybrid work environment with remote flexibility for exceptional candidates

Create Tomorrow, Together

At RS&H, we're investing in the future of digital delivery-and we're looking for leaders who want to help build it.
