Perfect Communications, located in Moorestown, NJ specializes in providing high-quality print and mailing solutions to businesses of all sizes. We have a full-time, first or second shift Assistant Digital Press Operator position open.  This is a prime opportunity for someone with previous digital press experience to gain valuable experience with the latest print and finishing technologies and chart a path for future professional growth.

Who You Are

As a Assistant Digital Press Operator, you will be responsible for assisting our Level 1 technicians operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art digital print and finishing equipment. The ideal candidate will have some previous experience in running a digital production press. The candidate will need to be able to perform multiple functions and be able to work independently in a print manufacturing environment. The position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are looking to grow their abilities and advance their career. We offer a full benefits package for full-time positions.

What You'll Do
  • Assist Level 1 technicians in operation digital printing and finishing equipment.
  • Learn to set up and configure printing machines to ensure accurate color reproduction and print quality.
  • Load and unload paper and other printing materials.
  • Monitor print jobs to ensure they are running smoothly and adjust as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on digital presses to keep them in optimal condition.
  • Inspect printed materials for quality and accuracy.
  • Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Sort and pack finished pieces for direct mail distribution based on USPS requirements.
What You Bring
  • Previous experience as a Digital Press, Prepress or Bindery operator within the print industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating digital printing equipment and associated software.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for color accuracy and print quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
