Versa-Tags is currently seeking a Screen Press Operator to join our Evening Shift team!
  • Shift: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm

What is a Versa-Tags Flexo Press Operator?
As a Flexo Press Operator, you will be part of a highly skilled printing team that works on our variety of Flexo Printing Presses. Flexo Printing requires mechanical and technical skill while perfecting the art of efficient and high-quality printing. Flexo Press Operators have knowledge of the entire process of Flexo printing - from Flexo press set-up to the finished product! Our Flexo Press Operators are masters of their trade, love to refine and perfect their processes, and have a strong understanding of efficiency and waste-reduction to make sure they know exactly how to make a Quality Product with precision and care.
What does your day look like?
  • Work with a determined and professional team to create an unstoppable and positive environment that Ships Quality Products On Time, Every Time.
  • Efficiently and accurately set up Flexo Presses to create a product that meets registration. Use your knowledge and training to run at the highest possible efficiency to ensure that you are able to create the highest quality product that is signed off to produce the first time, every time.
  • Troubleshoot issues using knowledge of dye rolls, cylinder positioning, tension, and ink preparation.
  • Maintain quality and production standards for varying work performed in the Flexo Printing Department to ensure the products you help create are made efficiently so they reach the customer on time.
  • Cross-train throughout the Flexo Printing Department (and beyond!) to make yourself as versatile and able to assist in our ultimate goal to Ship Quality Products, On Time Every Time.
  • Use Time Clock and ERP system to correctly log your work and waste.
  • Follow all safety requirements, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job functions related to working with inks or chemicals.
  • Maintain a clean and high-functioning work station and press.
  • Other duties as assigned
